What is iBridge?
iBridge is a cross-chain platform that allows users to transfer IOST tokens between the IOST Mainnet and BNB Smart Chain (BSC) networks. It enables interoperability between these two blockchains. In the first phase, we will only open the one-way cross-chain functionality from IOST L1 to BNB Chain.
What are the minimum and maximum transfer amounts?
The minimum transfer amount is 10,000 IOST and the maximum transfer amount is 1,000,000 IOST per transaction.
What is the transfer fee?
In the initial release period, as a way to give back to our users, we will temporarily not charge any cross-chain fees.
How long does a transfer take?
Most transfers are completed within a few minutes. However, for transactions over 500,000 IOST, it may take 10 minutes to 10 hours for completion.
What wallets can I use with iBridge?
You'll need an IOST wallet (such as iWallet pro) for the IOST network, and a BSC-compatible wallet (such as MetaMask or Binance Chain Wallet) for the BSC network.
What happens if my transaction fails?
If your transaction fails, the funds will typically be returned to your original wallet address. If you experience issues, please contact support with your transaction details.
Are there any restrictions on IOST BEP-20 tokens?
Yes, IOST BEP-20 tokens may be subject to deposit and withdrawal restrictions based on BNB Smart Chain network rules and bridge protocol requirements.
